ICONIQ Capital Invests $40M Growth Round in Conexiom

Conexiom, a Vancouver-based SaaS provider of sales order and invoice automation, received a $40 million strategic growth investment from ICONIQ Capital, with existing investor Luminate Capital retaining a majority stake. QualTek Acquires Concurrent Group LLC to Expand Southeast Utility Services

QualTek, LLC acquired Concurrent Group LLC, a Miami-based electrical and utility contractor, to broaden its overhead and underground mid- and high-voltage installation, maintenance, and storm restoration capabilities. The deal expands QualTek’s geographic footprint in the U.S. Southeast and enhances its service offerings to utilities, electric co-ops and municipally owned power providers; terms were not disclosed.

Quanta Services Acquires Cupertino Electric

Quanta Services, Inc. has completed its approximately $1.5 billion acquisition of Cupertino Electric, Inc., a San Jose–based electrical infrastructure solutions provider. The deal brings CEI’s low-voltage electrical platform, modular electrical manufacturing capabilities and renewable-energy construction experience into Quanta’s portfolio to expand service offerings and end-market exposure in data centers, technology and utility-scale renewables.

Searchlight Capital and BCI to Acquire Consolidated Communications for $3.1 Billion

Affiliates of private equity firm Searchlight Capital Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) will acquire Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valuing the company at approximately $3.1 billion including assumed debt. The deal, which was approved by the Vermont Public Utility Commission and previously by Consolidated shareholders, will take the Mattoon, Illinois–based fiber and landline provider private to provide greater flexibility to execute its fiber expansion strategy, subject to remaining federal approvals.
