TPG and Sixth Street Complete Agreement to Become Independent, Unaffiliated Businesses

TPG and Sixth Street Partners announced completion of an agreement to evolve their relationship and operate as independent, unaffiliated businesses. As part of the arrangement TPG will retain a reduced passive minority economic stake in Sixth Street and both firms agreed not to start new businesses in each other's core spaces through 2021 to avoid overlap and allow independent growth.
