NSF, a global public health and safety organization, has acquired PSILab, Inc., an ISO 17025-accredited plastic pipe and materials testing laboratory based in Longmont, Colorado. The purchase expands NSF's testing, failure analysis and consulting capabilities for the water and large-diameter pipe markets and will streamline certification and testing services for pipe manufacturers and material suppliers.

Solvias Acquires Chemic Laboratories to Establish U.S. Laboratory Presence

Solvias has acquired Canton, Massachusetts-based Chemic Laboratories, Inc., giving the Swiss analytical testing and contract research company a U.S. foothold and complementary laboratory testing capabilities. Chemic's co-founders will join Solvias' leadership and continue to run U.S. operations; financial terms were not disclosed.

PSI Services LLC Acquires Caliper

PSI Services LLC, a global workforce solutions provider, has acquired Caliper, a talent management and assessment company founded in 1961. Capstone Partners advised Caliper on the transaction; PSI said the acquisition will broaden its assessment portfolio by combining Caliper’s flagship Caliper Profile and Precision Series solutions with PSI’s existing capabilities.

TricorBraun Acquires Packaging Solutions, Inc.

TricorBraun has acquired Minneapolis-based Packaging Solutions, Inc. (PSI), a rigid packaging distributor and custom designer serving pharmaceutical, pet food and personal care markets. The acquisition strengthens TricorBraun’s Minneapolis presence (adding warehouse capacity) and integrates PSI into the TricorBraun platform; PSI’s owners and team will remain and the Packaging Solutions name has been retired. Terms were not disclosed.

Pace Analytical Services Acquires Alpha Analytical, LLC

Pace Analytical Services, a division of Pace and a PE-backed national laboratory network, has acquired Alpha Analytical, LLC, a full-service environmental laboratory based in Westborough, Massachusetts. The deal expands Pace's geographic footprint and laboratory capabilities in the Northeast, adding multiple labs and service centers and strengthening testing services for emerging contaminants such as PFAS.

Pace Analytical Acquires Aerobiology Laboratory Associates, Inc.

Pace Analytical Services, LLC acquired Aerobiology Laboratory Associates, Inc., an accredited environmental microbiology testing laboratory with eight labs and two service centers, to strengthen Pace’s microbiology capabilities. Aerobiology will continue operating under its brand as a division of Pace, with founder Suzanne Blevins and her team remaining to lead the business.
