Compass, the real estate technology company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire First Alliance Title LLC, a leading title and escrow provider in the Denver metro area. The acquisition expands Compass' title and escrow portfolio and advances its goal of offering an end-to-end platform for residential real estate transactions; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close by year-end.

Fidelity National Financial Acquires AllFirst Title Insurance Agency

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) has acquired AllFirst Title Insurance Agency and its portfolio of regional brands, which provide title examination, abstract and settlement services across 121 counties in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. The deal brings 500+ AllFirst employees and multiple regional brands into FNF’s title platform; AllFirst senior management will continue to lead operations and Luke Strawn will report to Joe Grealish. Financial terms were not disclosed in the company announcement.
