Lloyd's Register Acquires Ocean Technologies Group from Oakley Capital

Lloyd's Register Group is acquiring Ocean Technologies Group (OTG) from Oakley Capital Fund IV to expand its digital maritime services by combining OTG with LR’s OneOcean business. The deal brings OTG’s training, compliance, operational and HR software — used across thousands of vessels and more than one million seafarers — into LR’s broader maritime software and professional services platform; closing is subject to customary regulatory approvals and financing support has been provided by J.P. Morgan.

Equistone-backed ChartCo merges with Marine Press to form OneOcean

Equistone Partners Europe–backed ChartCo has merged with Canadian navigation solutions provider Marine Press (backed by Champlain Financial Corporation) to create a new global business called OneOcean. The transaction, supported by a refinancing from Pemberton, brings together complementary digital navigation and voyage-compliance capabilities to expand the combined group's product offering and international reach.

OneWater Marine Acquires Ocean Blue Yacht Sales

OneWater Marine Holdings, an Atlanta-based public marine dealership consolidator, has acquired Ocean Blue Yacht Sales of Stuart, Florida. The Ocean Blue locations in Stuart, West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale will continue operating under the Ocean Blue Yachts name and all existing personnel are expected to remain; deal terms were not disclosed.

Venterra Group Acquires Oceanscan Holdings

Offshore wind services provider Venterra Group has acquired the Oceanscan Holdings group, adding subsea and non-destructive test equipment hire, geotechnical services and specialist personnel capabilities. Oceanscan is headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, with subsidiaries in Houston and Singapore and four UK operating subsidiaries; the deal expands Venterra's capabilities in offshore wind and related energy markets.
