SAS has acquired code and hired select employees from rPath to strengthen its ability to automate deployment and management of SAS solutions across virtual, private and public cloud environments. The deal adds rPath technology and personnel to SAS Research and Development to accelerate cloud, on-demand and virtualization capabilities for SAS products.
