BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions Acquires Clean Air Club

BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions (BGE) acquired Clean Air Club Incorporated, a subscription-based direct-to-consumer e-commerce business that delivers replacement home furnace filters. The acquisition closed on June 30, 2021; Clean Air Club co-founders Damon Atwood and Lauren Mintoff will remain involved as advisors during the transition. BGE said it will continue operating the Clean Air Club in Edmonton and expand the business into additional geographic markets.

Rensa Filtration (Edgewater) Acquires Air Filters, Inc.

Edgewater Growth Capital Partners IV’s portfolio company Rensa Filtration has acquired Air Filters, Inc., a Houston-based manufacturer of pleated and HEPA air filtration products. The deal is an add-on acquisition intended to expand Rensa’s product portfolio and capabilities in commercial and industrial HVAC and critical-environment filtration.

Nederman Acquires Duroair Technologies Inc

Sweden-based environmental technology company Nederman has acquired Canadian air-filtration manufacturer Duroair Technologies Inc to strengthen its Extraction & Filtration Technology division in the US and Canada. The deal implies an enterprise value of approximately CAD 11 million with a potential earn-out of up to CAD 4 million; Duroair (headquartered in Niagara Falls, Ontario) will continue to operate under its brand and has about 10 employees.

Rensa Filtration Acquires Air Filtration Co., Inc.

Rensa Filtration, a PE-backed manufacturer and distributor of air filtration products, has acquired Air Filtration Co., Inc., a family-owned maker and distributor of spray booth and industrial air filters with production facilities in Lancaster, California and Corydon, Iowa. The deal expands Rensa's geographic footprint in California and Iowa and adds Air Filtration Co.'s spray booth filtration product line to Rensa's portfolio.
