Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) has completed its acquisition of Cornerstone Building Brands, the largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, in an all-cash transaction with an enterprise value of approximately $5.8 billion including assumed debt. Cornerstone, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina and employing more than 20,000 people, will become a privately held company under CD&R to pursue operational improvements and accelerated growth.
