Northgate Public Services (a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation) has acquired Charter Systems Ltd from Equiniti Group plc to integrate Charter's covert operations software into NPS's policing IT portfolio. The deal is intended to expand NPS's public safety capabilities and improve information sharing for undercover policing across the UK and internationally (including Canada).

NEC Software Solutions UK Acquires Capita Secure Solutions and Services

NEC Software Solutions UK (part of NEC Corporation) agreed to acquire Capita Secure Solutions and Services (SSS), a Chippenham‑based provider of public‑safety software, radio managed services and support services, from Capita plc in a transaction announced October 1, 2021. The deal (reported at £62 million) is intended to expand NEC’s emergency‑services and justice sector offering and combine complementary technology and service capabilities, subject to customary approvals.

Park Place Technologies Acquires NCE Group Limited

Park Place Technologies has acquired NCE Group Limited, a UK-based provider of third-party data center maintenance and repair, in what Park Place described as the largest acquisition in the company's history. The deal (terms not disclosed) adds more than 280 employees, expands Park Place's European footprint and broadens its post-warranty hardware maintenance capabilities.

Spire Healthcare Group plc Acquires Vita Health Group Limited

Vita, a leading UK provider of NHS outpatient mental health talking therapies, musculoskeletal and occupational health services with c.1,600 employees and forecast 2024 revenue >£100m, was sold by funds advised or managed by ARCHIMED and certain current and former employee shareholders.

Northwell Health Completes Merger with Nuvance Health

Northwell Health and Nuvance Health have officially joined to form an integrated regional nonprofit health system serving communities across New York and Connecticut. The combined system will increase coordinated care capacity, expand access across inpatient and ambulatory sites, and enable at least $1 billion in Northwell investment into Nuvance hospitals.
