GHK Capital Partners Acquires ITS Logistics

GHK Capital Partners LP, a Greenwich-based private equity firm, completed the acquisition of ITS Logistics, a U.S. third-party logistics provider. The transaction (terms undisclosed) transfers ownership from McNally Capital and its partners (including Coughlin Capital and the ITS founders) and positions ITS to expand services, invest in technology and physical assets, and grow its North American footprint.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Global Transport Solutions Group

AIT Worldwide Logistics has acquired Global Transport Solutions Group (GTS), a Netherlands-headquartered specialist in time-critical marine spare parts logistics. The deal brings GTS’ more than 600 teammates across 16 locations and nine consolidation hubs into AIT’s global network, adding marine spare-parts capabilities, warehouse capacity and new geographic presence in Greece, Japan and the Nordics; terms were not disclosed.

TFI International Acquires JHT Holdings

TFI International agreed to acquire JHT Holdings, an asset-light North American logistics and transportation provider that specializes in transporting Class 6-8 trucks from OEMs to dealers and end customers. JHT, based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, operates a 25-terminal network (8 owned), generates more than US$500 million in annual revenue, and is expected to close in the third quarter subject to customary adjustments.

GlobalTranz Acquires TAKTIK Logistics Group, Inc.

GlobalTranz Enterprises, LLC acquired TAKTIK Logistics Group, Inc., a Pleasanton, California–based freight brokerage and logistics agency. The deal brings TAKTIK's freight management expertise and customer-service capabilities into GlobalTranz's agent network and converts the Pleasanton office into a GlobalTranz branch.

TJC, L.P. Acquires Global Transport Solutions (GTS)

TJC, L.P. (The Jordan Company) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Global Transport Solutions Topholding B.V. (GTS), an international maritime-focused logistics and forwarding provider operating under the Marinetrans and Best Global Logistics brands. The investment will provide GTS with resources to support geographic expansion, strengthen its network and capabilities, and accelerate growth across time-critical maritime supply chain markets.

Transportation and Logistics Systems (TLSS) Acquires Assets of GRC Trucking, Inc.

Transportation and Logistics Systems, Inc. (TLSS) entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all assets of GRC Trucking, Inc., a 30-year intermodal logistics and drayage provider based in Kearney, New Jersey. The asset purchase (to be paid in TLSS common stock) is intended to expand TLSS' intermodal, import/export and drayage capabilities and realize operating-synergies with its PrimeEFS and ShypDirect hubs in New Jersey.
