NR West, the parent company of Dallas-based The Insurance Exchange and part of the Warner Pacific family, has completed the acquisition of Foster Benefit Resources, a North Texas general agency specializing in fully insured and level-funded employee benefits. The deal expands NR West/The Insurance Exchange's footprint and capabilities in North Texas and will integrate Foster Benefits' broker relationships and resources while Foster Benefits' president Kim Foster retires.

World Insurance Associates Acquires Exchange Underwriters

World Insurance Associates LLC (World), a national insurance brokerage headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, acquired the business of Exchange Underwriters, Inc. of Washington, Pennsylvania on December 1, 2023. The acquisition expands World’s local footprint and product offering in the Pittsburgh region; MarshBerry advised World and Dowling Hales advised Exchange Underwriters.

Warner Pacific Acquires Ashmore Agency, Inc.

Warner Pacific has completed the acquisition of the general agency of Ashmore Agency, Inc., a Lubbock, Texas-based employee benefits consulting and general agency business. The deal expands Warner Pacific's carrier and product portfolio and strengthens its Blue Cross Blue Shield relationships in Texas; Ashmore's co-owner Elizabeth "Beth" Ashmore will remain involved as a consultant.

Hub International Acquires The Insurance Exchange, Inc.

Terms were not disclosed; Joseph Brown, President and CEO of The Insurance Exchange, will join Hub Mid-Atlantic as the agency is integrated to expand Hub's footprint and retirement/benefits capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic.

Warner Pacific Acquires Five General Agencies from Acrisure

Warner Pacific, a Lovell Minnick Partners–backed national general agency, acquired five Acrisure general agencies effective December 1, 2024. The deal brings five regional general agencies (Employee Benefit Risk Management; Group Benefit LTD; Professional Group Marketing; National United Brokers; Mature Health Services) into Warner Pacific to expand its national footprint, distribution channels and product offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.

AssuredPartners Acquires Nevada West Business Insurance Agency, Inc.

AssuredPartners, Inc. has acquired Nevada West Business Insurance Agency, Inc., a Las Vegas-based commercial insurance agency. The five-person agency, which reports approximately $1 million in annualized revenue, will remain under the operational leadership of Jeff Maren as AssuredPartners expands its presence in the Nevada market.
