Nintendo Acquires Shiver Entertainment from Embracer Group

Nintendo has agreed to acquire 100% of Shiver Entertainment from Embracer Group, making the Miami-based studio a wholly owned subsidiary to bolster its porting and development capabilities. Shiver will continue focusing on porting and developing game software for multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch; the deal is expected to have only a minor effect on Nintendo's current fiscal year results.
