Osaic, a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners, has acquired Boston-based CW Advisors, a registered investment advisor managing roughly $13.5–14.5 billion in fee-only client assets. The deal (purchased from Audax Private Equity) expands Osaic’s scale and capabilities in the fee-only channel and high-net-worth / ultra-high-net-worth wealth management market while allowing CW Advisors to remain operationally independent.

CW Advisors Acquires Cubic Asset Management

Boston-based CW Advisors (CWA), a PE-backed registered investment advisor, has acquired Cubic Asset Management, an independent Boston-based account management firm, adding over $700 million of AUM to CWA. The deal is an add-on to CWA's platform (which is partnered with Audax Private Equity) and is intended to expand CWA's investment capabilities and client servicing for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

CW Advisors Adds Agili Team ($1.2B AUM)

Boston-based registered investment advisor CW Advisors (CWA) has partnered with Agili, a fee-only financial planning and investment advisory firm, adding $1.2 billion of assets under management. Agili's offices in Richmond, Virginia and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania will remain open; Agili President Michael Joyce will become the combined firm's executive managing director and Mid-Atlantic leader. The terms were undisclosed; the deal is CWA's fourth and largest since partnering with Audax Private Equity in June 2023.

The deals expand CW Advisors’ presence in Pennsylvania and increase its AUM to approximately $14.5 billion; terms were not disclosed.

CW Advisors Acquires Delta Financial Group and Leathe & Associates

CW Advisors, an SEC-registered investment management firm headquartered in Boston, has acquired Delta Financial Group, a fee-only RIA with $1.3 billion AUM based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and Leathe & Associates, an RIA in Eliot, Maine. Terms were not disclosed; Gladstone Group Inc. facilitated the Delta transaction. Following the deals, CW Advisors now operates 15 offices, has over 125 employees, and manages more than $12 billion of AUM.
