NB Tech Acquisitions, a Newport Beach-based private holding company and technology incubator, has completed the acquisition of Next Generation Management Corp. (NGMC), a publicly traded OTC company. The deal will integrate NGMC’s management solutions and operational capabilities into NB Tech’s technology portfolio to expand services and drive growth across AI, ecommerce and cybersecurity initiatives.

Honeycomb Acquires Grit

Honeycomb acquired Grit, an open-source query system and AI agent, to simplify instrumentation and accelerate OpenTelemetry adoption for customers building end-to-end observability. Grit founder Morgante Pell will join Honeycomb’s engineering team to lead AI feature development; Honeycomb also announced executive hires Julie Neumann (CMO) and Matt Nelson (CRO).

Tiderock Companies Acquires GRP Alliance (to be Tiderock Composites)

Tiderock Companies (OTC PINK: TDRK) completed the acquisition of GRP Alliance Limited — a UK company formed to acquire the assets of MTAG Composites — and will rebrand it as Tiderock Composites Limited. The Coningsby, Lincolnshire facility will be retained and continue producing ISO 9001–accredited phenolic, epoxy and polyester glass- and carbon-fiber reinforced plastic moldings for aerospace, marine, rail and entertainment markets.

Cairngorm Capital-backed Grant & Stone Acquires RGB Building Supplies, Buildit Gloster and Total Plumbing Supplies

Cairngorm Capital’s portfolio company Grant & Stone Group has completed three add-on acquisitions—RGB Building Supplies, Buildit Gloster and Total Plumbing Supplies—creating the largest independent builders’ merchant group in southern England with 74 branches, combined revenues approaching £250m and more than 1,000 employees. The transactions expand Grant & Stone’s geographic footprint across Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire as part of a roll-up growth strategy supported by Cairngorm Capital.

NPM Capital Takes Minority Stake in NTS Group

NPM Capital is acquiring a minority stake in NTS Group to support the Eindhoven-based supplier of complex (opto)mechatronic systems in accelerating its international growth and expanding production capacity across Europe, Asia and North America. The deal, which will help NTS scale for semiconductor and analytical OEM customers, is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first half of 2025.

MOBILTEX Acquires GCRTech (UK)

MOBILTEX Data Ltd., an XPV Water Partners company, has acquired GCR Tech Limited, a UK manufacturer of field instruments for water network pressure management and leakage control. The deal brings GCRTech's edge-computing instrumentation together with MOBILTEX's IIoT, cloud and analytics capabilities to expand product offerings and accelerate growth into water utilities and energy markets.
