WiQo (via WiQo US) Acquires Love Beauty Pro & Medical to Expand U.S. Presence

Italian aesthetic-medicine company WiQo (through its newly formed WiQo US, Inc.), backed by healthcare private equity firm ARCHIMED, has acquired Boston-based Love Beauty Pro & Medical, the long-time U.S. distributor and training partner for WiQo's PRX Derm Perfexion. The deal brings distribution, sales and clinical training capabilities in-house to accelerate WiQo's U.S. expansion and deepen local provider relationships.

Yellow Wood Partners completed the acquisition of Elida Beauty, a portfolio of legacy Unilever beauty and personal care brands (including Q-tips, Caress, Ponds for North America/Europe, Impulse, Noxzema, Monsavon and Timotei). The transaction is a corporate carve-out from Unilever; Yellow Wood will operate Elida Beauty as an independent company with offices in Dallas, London and Paris and has named Alfie Vivian as CEO to lead the next phase of growth.

SBC Medical Group Holdings announced the final results of a tender offer to acquire up to 575,052 common shares of Waqoo, Inc. at JPY 1,900 per share, representing a total investment of approximately JPY 1,092.5 million. With an off-market transfer of remaining shares from major shareholder Yoshiyuki Aikawa, SBC Medical's ownership of Waqoo is expected to exceed 50%, making SBC the parent company to strengthen its regenerative-medicine R&D capabilities and presence in Japan.
