The San Jose-based, family-run agency will operate autonomously under the OLI/Heffernan network to leverage market access, back-office support and growth resources.

OLI Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Heffernan Insurance Brokers, acquired the assets of Truck Writer Insurance Services, Inc., a Burlingame, California-based specialist in trucking and public auto insurance, effective May 1, 2020. Truck Writer will operate as an autonomous affiliate within the OLI/Heffernan network as part of the group's strategy to expand specialty market capabilities and support independent agencies.

The Hilb Group Acquires Owen Moore Insurance Agency

The Hilb Group, LLC (THG) acquired Michigan-based Owen Moore Insurance Agency, LLC (OMA) effective December 31, 2020. OMA, a full-service property and casualty insurance agency, will join THG's Midwest region with Randal (Randy) Moore and his team; THG is a PE-backed insurance brokerage controlled by The Carlyle Group.

Hub International Acquires Brokerage Assets of The Olson Insurance Agency LLC and Insure All, LLC

Hub International Limited acquired the insurance brokerage assets of The Olson Insurance Agency LLC and Insure All, LLC, both Virginia-based agencies. The agencies' owners (Max Olson and Michael Forney) and their employees will join Hub Mid-Atlantic; terms were not disclosed.
