Alliant Insurance Services has acquired Assured Health Group (AHG), a West Palm Beach-based direct-to-consumer agency specializing in Affordable Care Act (ACA) under-65 individual health insurance plans. AHG will join Alliant Consumer Group to expand Alliant's presence in the ACA marketplace; terms were not disclosed and the entire AHG team will join Alliant.

Senior Market Sales (SMS), an insurance marketing organization and part of the Alliant family, has acquired Medicare Solutions Network, a Lisle, Illinois-based Medicare insurance agency known for its popular educational Medicare workshops. The deal brings Medicare Solutions Network onto SMS’s platform to leverage SMS’s technology, back-office support and carrier relationships to expand reach in the Chicago-area senior market.
