Valens Semiconductor Acquires Acroname

Valens Semiconductor acquired Acroname, a Boulder-based maker of programmable USB hubs, switches and test automation systems, to expand its industrial USB connectivity offering. The deal paid $7.8 million in cash plus Acroname's cash on hand and includes up to $7.2 million of earnouts tied to performance and product milestones.
