Hayward Holdings Acquires Halco Lighting Technologies' Specialty Lighting Business

Hayward Holdings, Inc. has acquired the specialty lighting business of Halco Lighting Technologies, adding established brands such as ColorSplash, J&J Electronics, PureWhite and Sollos. The purchase expands Hayward's pool, spa, fountain and landscape lighting product lines and enables further integration with its OmniLogic smart pool automation platform as the company enters the landscape and bulb markets.

Hawkins, Inc. Acquires Water Solutions Unlimited and The Miami Products & Chemical Company

Hawkins, Inc. (Nasdaq: HWKN) completed the acquisition of Water Solutions Unlimited, Inc. and signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of The Miami Products & Chemical Company (doing business as Sanygen). The deals expand Hawkins' water treatment footprint by six locations, add over 90 employees, and bring bleach manufacturing capabilities to support Hawkins' regional water treatment operations.

Solenis Acquires Clearon Corp.

Solenis has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Clearon Corp., a South Charleston, West Virginia-based specialty chemical manufacturer that produces trichloroisocyanuric and dichloroisocyanuric acids and finished pool and disinfectant products. The acquisition expands Solenis' pool and spa water treatment portfolio and is expected to close in 2022 subject to regulatory approvals; financial terms were not disclosed.

Horizon Commercial Pools Acquires Valley Aquatic Solutions

Horizon Commercial Pools, a portfolio company of permanent-capital investor Northrim Horizon L.P., has acquired Valley Aquatic Solutions, a Wisconsin-based provider of commercial pool chemicals, equipment, service, water-quality management, renovation and finishing. The deal is an add-on to Horizon's existing platform to deepen its Midwest footprint and continues the owners' transition of the business from founders Ken and Karen Walther to Horizon.
