Ergoseal Acquires Performance Sealing Solutions LLC

Ergoseal, a Carol Stream, Illinois-based manufacturer of high-performance sealing solutions, has acquired Performance Sealing Solutions LLC (PSS) effective July 10, 2024. The acquisition brings PSS’s PTFE sealing technologies and engineered sealing products into Ergoseal’s portfolio to expand product offerings, strengthen R&D and manufacturing capabilities, and better serve industrial, aerospace and food & beverage end markets.

Trelleborg Group Acquires Aero-Plastics Inc.

Trelleborg Group, through its Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, has signed an agreement to acquire Aero-Plastics Inc., a Renton, Washington-based manufacturer of precision injection-molded and thermoformed high-performance polymer components for the aerospace interiors market. The acquisition — expected to close in Q2 2025 — expands Trelleborg's thermoplastics and interiors capabilities, adds capacity and customer relationships, and is intended to generate sales synergies within its aerospace offering.

FBC Chemical Corporation Acquires TR Chem Solutions, LLC

The acquisition expands FBC's product portfolio and supplier network, adding TR Chem's silicone fluids, specialty additives, industrial emulsions and food‑grade lubricants to FBC's distribution and toll‑blending capabilities.

Pexco LLC, a PE-backed North American specialty plastics extruder, acquired Performance Elastomers Corporation (PEC), a Ravenna, Ohio-based manufacturer of rubber, silicone and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) products. The deal — announced December 1, 2021 — expands Pexco's silicone and TPE capabilities and broadens its end-market exposure in mobility, RV, marine and heavy equipment aftermarket segments; PEC owners Art Bowen and Dave Spears sold the business.

Trelleborg Group Acquires Minnesota Rubber and Plastics from KKR

Trelleborg Acquires Maritime International, Inc.

Trelleborg AB, through its Offshore & Construction business area, has agreed to acquire Maritime International, Inc., a privately owned U.S. marine fender systems designer and manufacturer based in Broussard, Louisiana. The bolt-on deal expands Trelleborg's production and engineering footprint in North America and strengthens its berthing, docking and mooring offering; the acquired business has annual sales of approximately SEK 200 million and the transaction was expected to close in Q4 2015.
