HEPACO Acquires Evergreen AES Environmental Services

HEPACO, a Gryphon Investors–backed provider of emergency response and environmental services, has acquired Evergreen AES Environmental Services from Jerry McCandless, Kendrick McCandless, and Jennifer Lanham. The acquisition adds Evergreen AES's four regional locations and capabilities (remediation, emergency response and waste management), expanding HEPACO's footprint across the Mid-Central and Midwest and bringing the combined company to nearly 850 employees and 49 locations.

The Sterling Group Forms Evergreen Platform by Acquiring CarbonLITE's Riverside PET Facility

The Sterling Group executed a carve-out of Evergreen (the PET recycling division of Greenbridge Packaging) and merged it with the Riverside, California assets of CarbonLITE acquired through a 363 bankruptcy process to form a national PET recycling platform, Evergreen. The deal gives Evergreen a West Coast presence and increases food-grade rPET manufacturing capacity, with the Riverside facility measuring 220,000 square feet and an estimated annual capacity of more than 100 million pounds of rPET.

Superior Environmental Solutions Acquires Arrowhead Environmental Services

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES), a portfolio company of Palladium Equity Partners, has acquired Arrowhead Environmental Services, a Windsor, Virginia-based provider of environmental and industrial services. The add-on expands SES's geographic reach into the Southern Mid-Atlantic (Central Virginia), brings approximately 50 employees and 75 customers into the SES platform, and underscores Palladium's strategy of growing SES via tuck-in acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Interstate Waste Services Acquires Evergreen Recycling Solutions

Interstate Waste Services, a privately held waste and recycling services provider based in Teaneck, New Jersey, has acquired Evergreen Recycling Solutions, a LEED-certified C&D material recovery facility and transfer station based in Newark, New Jersey. The acquisition adds a state-of-the-art construction & demolition (C&D) MRF to IWS's network, expanding its C&D processing and recycling capabilities across Northern and Central New Jersey.

Evergreen Services Group Acquires ImageQuest
