Kingswood Capital Management Acquires Kodak Alaris

Kingswood Capital Management has acquired Kodak Alaris from the United Kingdom Pension Protection Fund. The Los Angeles-based private equity firm said it will partner with management to invest in growth and operational initiatives across Kodak Alaris' two business units—Kodak Moments (consumer photo products) and Kodak Alaris Business Unit (document capture hardware, software and services).

Wealth Enhancement Group, a Minneapolis-based independent wealth management firm, has acquired Kings Point Capital Management, an independent RIA with offices in Great Neck, New York and Brentwood, Tennessee. The deal brings Kings Point’s $1.7 billion in client assets onto Wealth Enhancement Group’s platform, increasing the firm’s total client assets to about $55 billion and adding a team of five advisors plus 11 support staff.
