Files.com, a Riverwood Capital–backed cloud-native SaaS platform headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, acquired ExaVault, a cloud file transfer vendor serving SMB and mid-market customers. The deal combines ExaVault’s customer base and engineering team (CEO David Ordal becomes Files.com CTO) with Files.com’s integration and automation capabilities, creating a combined platform of over 6,500 B2B customers and nearly 2 million GB of stored customer data.
