R-Zero Acquires CoWorkr

R-Zero, a biosafety technology company, has acquired CoWorkr, a workplace intelligence platform that provides privacy-first space utilization sensors and real-time occupancy analytics. The deal will integrate CoWorkr's IoT sensor network and analytics into R-Zero's biosafety platform to enable data-driven, automated disinfection and improved facility management.

Industrial Scientific Acquires Aeroqual

Industrial Scientific, a division of Fortive Corporation, has acquired Aeroqual, a New Zealand–based leader in real-time air quality monitoring hardware and software. The acquisition expands Industrial Scientific’s worker-safety sensing capabilities by adding Aeroqual’s environmental monitoring technology and analytics to its portfolio.

Nederman Acquires Duroair Technologies Inc

Sweden-based environmental technology company Nederman has acquired Canadian air-filtration manufacturer Duroair Technologies Inc to strengthen its Extraction & Filtration Technology division in the US and Canada. The deal implies an enterprise value of approximately CAD 11 million with a potential earn-out of up to CAD 4 million; Duroair (headquartered in Niagara Falls, Ontario) will continue to operate under its brand and has about 10 employees.

Johnson Controls Acquires Silent-Aire

Johnson Controls has agreed to acquire Silent-Aire, a global provider of hyperscale data center cooling equipment and modular data center solutions, in an all-cash transaction valued at up to $870 million (approximately $630 million upfront plus earnouts). The acquisition, expected to close subject to regulatory approvals, expands Johnson Controls' capabilities and presence in the hyperscale data center vertical and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS in fiscal 2022.

RapidAir (Engineered Specialties) Acquires Alpha-Pure Corporation

RapidAir (a Pfingsten portfolio company) has acquired Alpha-Pure Corporation, a Michigan City, Indiana-based distributor of compressed air treatment and condensate management products. The add-on deal expands RapidAir's product portfolio and customer reach across distributors, contractors, automotive and farm & ranch retailers; the transaction closed November 19, 2021.

Rensa Filtration (Edgewater) Acquires Air Filters, Inc.

Edgewater Growth Capital Partners IV’s portfolio company Rensa Filtration has acquired Air Filters, Inc., a Houston-based manufacturer of pleated and HEPA air filtration products. The deal is an add-on acquisition intended to expand Rensa’s product portfolio and capabilities in commercial and industrial HVAC and critical-environment filtration.
