Wynnchurch Capital Acquires Allegheny Technologies' Portland and Lebanon Forging Operations

Wynnchurch Capital acquired two closed-die forging facilities from Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) — the Portland, Indiana and Lebanon, Kentucky operations — in a deal reported at approximately $37 million. Wynnchurch said the carve-out creates a platform opportunity (Premier Forge Group) to grow the forging business and partner with management to expand capabilities for blue‑chip OEM end markets including transportation, oil & gas and aerospace & defense.
