Slam Acquires College Basketball Apparel Brand 19nine

Slam, the basketball magazine and lifestyle brand, has acquired college basketball apparel company 19nine and will merge the two merchandise teams. The deal (in which Slam’s parent JDS Sports previously held a stake) gives Slam control of 19nine’s college licensing (80+ schools) and supports expansion into a new Indiana facility to broaden Slam’s merchandise and lifestyle offerings.
