MiddleGround Capital acquired a majority ownership stake in Shiloh Industries, Inc., a global designer and manufacturer of lightweighting solutions for the mobility (automotive) market. The transaction is a platform buyout to support Shiloh’s growth in lightweight materials and electrification technologies; Shiloh employs roughly 3,450 people and operates globally across Asia, Europe and North America.

MiddleGround Capital, a Lexington, Kentucky–based private equity firm, has acquired Steel-Craft Corp., Hartford Finishing, LLC and Capitol Stampings Corp. (divisions of Wendorff Bros. Co., Inc.) to consolidate three complementary outsourced manufacturing businesses headquartered in Hartford, Wisconsin. The acquisition will align the three brands into a vertically integrated manufacturing platform to expand capabilities and better serve industrial OEM customers.

MiddleGround Capital Acquires Plasman Holdings

MiddleGround Capital has acquired Plasman Holdings from Insight Equity, adding a global manufacturer of exterior automotive components to its mobility-focused platform portfolio. Plasman, headquartered in Windsor, Ontario (with additional HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden), provides tooling, injection molding, paint applications and assembly for OEMs across North America and Europe and will support MiddleGround's Mobility Strategy focused on vehicle lightweighting and electrification.

MiddleGround Capital Acquires Attala Steel Industries as Add-on to EDSCO Fasteners

MiddleGround Capital acquired Attala Steel Industries, a manufacturer of steel foundation products for utility‑scale solar, and will integrate the business with its existing portfolio company EDSCO Fasteners. Attala, headquartered in Kosciusko, Mississippi with an additional facility in Hillsboro, Texas, will continue operating under its management with founder Billy Atwood remaining an investor and board member while Kevin Heskett is expected to lead the combined business.

Schill Grounds Management Acquires The Ohio Valley Group's Commercial Division

Schill Grounds Management, a portfolio company of Argonne Capital Group, has purchased the commercial division of The Ohio Valley Group in a carve-out add-on that expands Schill's service area to the east side of Cleveland. About a dozen commercial employees, equipment and use of a portion of The Ohio Valley Group's facilities will transfer to Schill while the Dangelos retain residential operations and pursue other ventures.
