The 80-person firm, which reports approximately $19 million in annualized revenue, will remain led by President Chris Pierce and will expand AssuredPartners' employee benefits footprint and capabilities in the public sector across North Carolina and the surrounding region.

(Gallagher) completed the acquisition of AssuredPartners for $12.45 billion, adding roughly 10,900 colleagues and materially expanding its U.S. middle-market property & casualty and employee benefits capabilities. The deal is expected to be financially accretive with significant synergies and will broaden Gallagher's specialty, wholesale and international capabilities.

AssuredPartners is a large insurance brokerage with c.10,900 colleagues and ~400 offices across the U.S., the United Kingdom and Ireland; the deal expands Gallagher's brokerage scale and capabilities and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
