Spartaco Companies, a portfolio company of Platte River Equity, has acquired the Bulldog Bender brand of cable benders from inventor Vince May. The acquisition adds Bulldog Bender’s U.S.-made cable bending products to Spartaco’s portfolio to expand its offering for professional electrical installers and related end markets.

Nautic Partners, together with Spartech management, has completed the acquisition of Spartech, a Maryland Heights, Missouri-based manufacturer of engineered acrylics, extruded plastics and thermoformed packaging, from Arsenal Capital Partners. Nautic said it will partner with the long‑tenured Spartech management team to invest in new products, expand capabilities and pursue selective add‑on acquisitions to grow the business.

Revolution Acquires Polar Plastics from Spell Capital Partners

Revolution, a Little Rock-based manufacturer of sustainable plastic solutions, acquired Polar Plastics Corporation from Spell Capital Partners to expand its production footprint and deepen penetration into packaging, agriculture and retail end markets. Polar Plastics is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota and operates a 100,000-square-foot polyethylene film and bag manufacturing facility; Spell Capital had owned the business since 2018.

The Jordan Company Acquires Spartech from Nautic Partners

The Jordan Company completed the acquisition of Spartech, a Maryland Heights, Missouri-based manufacturer of engineered thermoplastics and custom packaging solutions. Nautic Partners will remain a minority shareholder, and TJC said the investment will support Spartech's organic growth and strategic acquisitions while adding industry veteran Andy Brewer as Executive Chairman.

Ronin Equity Partners acquired and merged three manufacturers — DK2, SnowBear and Currahee Trailers — to create a North American platform operating under the DK2 name focused on outdoor power equipment and utility trailers. The combined group, backed by co-investors and LPs (including Harvey & Company, Stephens Capital Partners, Northwood Ventures and Knott Partners), will pursue a buy-and-build strategy to scale manufacturing, expand distribution (including major home-improvement channels) and fund further add-on acquisitions.
