NVM Private Equity Acquires MRO Plus Solutions Group from Cairngorm Capital

NVM Private Equity has acquired MRO Plus Solutions Group Limited (MRO+), a UK-based specialist distributor of critical industrial components, from Cairngorm Capital Partners. The deal (structured as an MBO supported by NVM) will provide capital to support MRO+'s continued organic growth and acquisitive strategy; the business has grown to more than 90 employees and delivered record trading in 2023 under Cairngorm's ownership.

The Blackhawk Group Acquires Glendale Aero Services' MRO Business

The Blackhawk Group, a portfolio company of New State Capital Partners, has acquired the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business of Glendale Aero Services and will rebrand the operation as a Blackhawk Performance Center (BPC-Glendale). The acquisition expands The Blackhawk Group’s Performance Center network and adds specialized Cirrus SR/Vision Jet and Cessna MRO, CAPS and avionics capabilities; Glendale’s Director of Maintenance, John Fisher, will remain in place. Terms were not disclosed.

AE Industrial Partners Acquires AIM MRO

The transaction, which closed Dec. 2, 2019, positions AEI to expand AIM MRO's capabilities and accelerate growth across global aerospace engine and gas turbine MRO customers.

TA Associates Takes Minority Stake in MRH Trowe; Bain Capital Credit and Macquarie Provide Refinancing

Global private equity firm TA Associates has taken a minority stake in German insurance broker MRH Trowe, joining existing investor AnaCap and the company's founding managers. The transaction follows a debt refinancing and upsizing provided by Bain Capital Credit and Macquarie Capital Private Credit to support MRH Trowe's continued buy-and-build strategy and growth plan to more than double revenues over five years.
