Mullen Group Acquires Pacific Northwest (PNW) Moving

Mullen Group Ltd. has acquired Pacific Northwest (PNW) Moving and its parent, Pacific Northwest Investments, expanding Mullen’s less‑than‑truckload (LTL) footprint into Northern Alberta and the Yukon. PNW will operate within Mullen Group’s LTL segment and brings two owned terminals (Whitehorse, Yukon and Edmonton, Alberta) plus local moving and storage capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

Mullen Group Acquires International Warehousing & Distribution Inc.

Mullen Group Ltd. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire International Warehousing & Distribution Inc. (IWD), a Mississauga-based customs sufferance warehousing and import/export delivery provider serving the Greater Toronto Area. The acquisition expands Mullen Group's logistics and warehousing footprint in the Greater Toronto Area and eastern Canada; IWD founder Steve Cox will remain during the transition period.

Gardewine Group Acquires Westman Courier & Freight

Gardewine Group Limited Partnership has entered into a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire Westman Courier & Freight, a Winnipeg-based regional courier and trucking operator. The deal, expected to close October 1, 2024, expands Gardewine's service network across Manitoba and into northwestern Ontario and gives Westman customers access to Gardewine's broader transportation, logistics and terminal network.

Foresight Invests in RFB Containers to Support Acquisition of Forth Containers

Foresight Group has invested £2 million into RFB Containers Limited to support RFB's acquisition of Forth Containers Limited and its subsidiary Container World. The deal creates a combined multi-site container hire, sales and self-storage operator in Scotland with a hire fleet of over 2,000 containers and retains existing management at the Bathgate site.

Mullen Group Acquires B. & R. Eckel's Transport Ltd.

Mullen Group Ltd. has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire B. & R. Eckel's Transport Ltd., a Bonnyville, Alberta-based trucking and logistics operator. The acquisition, funded from Mullen's cash and credit lines, adds 16 facilities, a fleet of ~400 power units and over 950 trailers, ~420 employees and approximately $85.0 million in annualized revenue, expanding Mullen's presence in Northeastern Alberta and energy-focused hauling capabilities.
