Ampersand Capital Partners Makes Majority Investment in Tjoapack

Ampersand Capital Partners has made a majority investment in Tjoapack Netherlands B.V., a global contract packaging organisation serving the pharmaceutical industry. The investment will fund expansion of Tjoapack's automated packaging capabilities (including injectable products and pre-filled syringes); Dexter Tjoa has been appointed CEO while founder Eric Tjoa remains on the board.

Specialized Packaging Group Acquires Protective Packaging Solutions

Specialized Packaging Group (a portfolio company of Altamont Capital Partners) has acquired Protective Packaging Solutions (PPS), a custom designer and fabricator of engineered protective packaging based in Aurora, Colorado. The acquisition expands SPG's engineered packaging capabilities and geographic reach, adding approximately 90 employees to SPG's ~1,600-person workforce; Monroe Capital provided a senior credit facility to support the transaction.

Alcami Corporation Acquires Pacific Pharmaceutical Services

PPC Flex Acquires SÜDPACK's US Operations

The deal expands PPC Flex’s flexographic printing, conversion and cold‑seal capabilities and increases capacity to serve meat & cheese, snack, confectionary and healthcare packaged‑goods customers.

TricorBraun Acquires Packaging Solutions, Inc.

TricorBraun has acquired Minneapolis-based Packaging Solutions, Inc. (PSI), a rigid packaging distributor and custom designer serving pharmaceutical, pet food and personal care markets. The acquisition strengthens TricorBraun’s Minneapolis presence (adding warehouse capacity) and integrates PSI into the TricorBraun platform; PSI’s owners and team will remain and the Packaging Solutions name has been retired. Terms were not disclosed.

ProAmpac Acquires Specialty Packaging, Inc.

ProAmpac, a Cincinnati-based flexible packaging manufacturer owned by Pritzker Private Capital, has acquired Specialty Packaging, Inc., a family-owned paper, film and foil packaging manufacturer based in Fort Worth, Texas. The acquisition expands ProAmpac's paper bag converting capacity, broadens its recyclable foodservice packaging portfolio and extends its footprint into the southwestern United States.
