DOF Group Acquires Maersk Supply Service from A.P. Moller Holding; Maersk Offshore Wind Carved Out

DOF Group ASA has completed the acquisition of Maersk Supply Service A/S from Maersk Supply Service Holding ApS / A.P. Moller Holding for a combination of cash (~USD 577m) and newly issued DOF shares, with MSSH receiving 58,883,073 consideration shares. After closing, A.P. Moller Holding will hold 25% of the combined company; Maersk’s offshore wind turbine installation business will remain with A.P. Moller Holding as the independent Maersk Offshore Wind.

Akastor ASA has completed the transfer of all of Mitsui & Co., Ltd.'s interests in AKOFS Offshore AS, increasing Akastor's ownership to 75%. Akastor and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) have signed agreements under which Akastor will transfer 8.3% of AKOFS Offshore to MOL (on substantially the same commercial terms), resulting in final ownership of two-thirds for Akastor and one-third for MOL while AKOFS Offshore remains a jointly controlled entity.

A.P. Moller - Maersk has completed its acquisition of Pilot Freight Services from ATL Partners and BCI for approximately $1.68 billion (EV $1.8bn post IFRS-16). The deal adds Pilot's North American first-, middle- and last-mile capabilities — including big-and-bulky e-commerce delivery, ~87 stations and ~2,600 employees — to Maersk's landside logistics and end-to-end supply chain offering.

Møller Holding A/S has signed an agreement to acquire Faerch A/S, a pan‑European leader in sustainable food packaging, from funds managed by Advent International for approximately EUR 1.9 billion.
