Aterian Investment Partners Acquires Stein Fibers

Aterian Investment Partners, a New York–based private equity firm, has acquired Stein Fibers, a leading North American distributor and manufacturer of polyester fiberfill and nonwoven fiber products headquartered in Albany, New York. Aterian said Stein Fibers will be a platform investment from Fund IV and that it will support the company’s growth both organically and through M&A while partnering with the company’s co-owners.

Morgan Global Alternatives, Hollyport Capital and Blackstone Strategic Partners; Aterian management and certain Fund II LPs rolled meaningful equity.
