Capital’s infrastructure strategy has acquired a controlling interest in PolarDC Group Limited, a European developer, owner and operator of high-performance computing (HPC) data center infrastructure. Polar’s first data center in Norway will offer up to 48MW of capacity, powered by 100% renewable hydroelectric power, and early investor LIAN Group will retain a minority stake as H.I.G. supports delivery of Polar’s near-term project pipeline to serve AI/HPC demand.

The acquisition vertically integrates Bit Digital's HPC and GPU hosting initiatives, enabling the company to offer colocation, on-demand computing and to host its own GPUs while supporting expansion plans for additional capacity.
