Truesec has acquired Danish specialist Venzo Cyber Security A/S from the VENZO Group to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities and market position in Denmark and Northern Europe. The deal, announced with an expected completion date of June 1, 2023, brings Venzo’s security advisory, solutions and managed services into Truesec’s global cyber offering.

Zuken Inc. completed the acquisition of Vitech Corporation, a Blacksburg, Virginia-based provider of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software and services. The deal — which received approval from the U.S. Department of Defense and CFIUS — expands Zuken's portfolio into systems engineering and MBSE capabilities to support customers in aerospace, transportation and defense markets.

CynergisTek, Inc. Acquires Backbone Consultants

CynergisTek, Inc. acquired Backbone Enterprises, Inc. (d/b/a Backbone Consultants) to expand its cybersecurity, IT audit, and data privacy capabilities. The transaction (announced November 1, 2019) included initial consideration of approximately $7.0 million ($5.5M cash, $1.5M stock) plus up to $4.0 million in earn-outs and brings Backbone’s ~ $3.6M trailing-12-month revenue and a small team of security, privacy, and IT audit professionals into CynergisTek’s managed services portfolio.

Valeo Networks Acquires Etech Solutions

Valeo Networks, a division of Saalex Corporation and national Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), has acquired Etech Solutions, an Ankeny, Iowa-based managed service provider (MSP) and affiliate EtechASP. The acquisition establishes Valeo's first Midwest office, expands its nationwide MSSP footprint and capabilities in cybersecurity, managed services and cloud hosting; financial terms were not disclosed.
