Clairvest Group Inc. (through its fund CEP VI) made a C$100 million minority equity investment to support the merger and recapitalization of Alberta-based Rogers Insurance and British Columbia-based CapriCMW, creating Acera Insurance Services Ltd. The investment will keep the business independent and employee-owned while providing capital to invest in people, technology and future acquisitions to grow the new national insurance brokerage platform.
