The Middleby Corporation has acquired Gorreri Food Processing Technology, a bakery equipment manufacturer based outside Parma, Italy. Gorreri operates a 50,000-sq.-ft. facility with approximately $20 million in annual revenue; Middleby said the acquisition expands its food processing and bakery product line—adding mixers, dosing, decorating, enrobing and ultrasonic portioning solutions—to strengthen its position in the cake and dessert categories.
