Brentwood Associates Acquires Majority Interest in Hissho Sushi

Brentwood Associates has acquired a majority interest in Hissho Sushi, partnering with Continental Grain Company and co-investors Portfolio Advisors, LLC and Pine Mountain Ventures. The transaction, which buys ownership from Jeff Vinik, Ingleside Investors, founder Philip Maung, Beem Holdings and management, will keep the existing management team in place to drive further growth across Hissho's >2,000 distribution points nationwide.
