Altor Solutions Acquires Plymouth Foam

Altor Solutions, a Compass Diversified (CODI)-backed designer and manufacturer of protective packaging, has acquired Plymouth Foam, a manufacturer of protective and cold-chain packaging, for an enterprise value of $56 million. The acquisition expands Altor's geographic footprint and capabilities—adding two manufacturing facilities in Plymouth, Wisconsin and Gnadenhutten, Ohio—and broadens its end-market exposure to food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, RV and construction customers.

Foam Fabricators Acquires Substantially All Assets of Polyfoam Corp.

Foam Fabricators, a Compass Diversified Holdings-backed packaging platform, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Massachusetts-based Polyfoam Corp., expanding Foam Fabricators' protective and temperature-sensitive packaging capabilities and geographic footprint. The deal adds Polyfoam's cold-chain and injection-molded plastic capabilities and enables cross-selling to national customers while Foam Fabricators also announced a partnership with Rational Packaging and commercialization of a biodegradable EPS product.

Altor Solutions Acquires Lifoam Industries from Jadex for $137M

Altor Solutions, a Compass Diversified (CODI)-backed cold-chain and protective packaging business, has acquired Lifoam Industries from Jadex Inc. for an enterprise value of $137 million in cash (excluding working capital and certain adjustments). The deal expands Altor's cold-chain packaging capabilities and geographic footprint with Lifoam's seven U.S. manufacturing sites and specialized thermal testing and engineering capabilities.

Alleguard Acquires Harbor Foam

Alleguard (Foam Holdings, a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company) has acquired Harbor Foam, an expanded polystyrene (EPS) manufacturer headquartered in Grandville, Michigan. The add-on expands Alleguard's EPS manufacturing and distribution capabilities to better serve its Midwest customer base across construction, packaging, recreational vehicle and general industrial end markets.

Domfoam Acquires Foamco Industries

Domfoam, a Montreal-based foam manufacturer, has acquired Foamco Industries, a Concord (GTA), Ontario foam fabricator to expand its presence in the Greater Toronto Area and broader Ontario market. The deal increases Domfoam's manufacturing footprint to five facilities (over 550,000 sq. ft.), enables next-day delivery across the GTA, and strengthens production capacity to better serve bedding, seating and medical customers.

UMAX Group Corp. Acquires Home Foam Corporation

UMAX Group Corp., an OTC-listed Nevada corporation, has acquired Home Foam Corporation, a Las Vegas-based custom manufacturer of expanded polystyrene (EPS) architectural products, packaging inserts and geo-foam. The acquisition was completed via an equity exchange making Home Foam a wholly owned subsidiary; Home Foam operates a 12,500 sq. ft. facility with nine full-time employees and services regional commercial and home-building clients.
