Branford Castle‑Backed GPT Industries Acquires Integrated Rectifier Technologies

GPT Industries, a Branford Castle Partners portfolio company, has acquired Integrated Rectifier Technologies Inc. (IRT), an Alberta-based manufacturer of transformer rectifiers and cathodic protection control systems. The add-on strengthens GPT's product portfolio and remote monitoring capabilities, expanding its corrosion-mitigation offerings for energy, utilities and infrastructure customers worldwide.

Fortress Acquires Gyptech

Funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group have acquired a majority stake in Gyptech, the Burlington, Ontario–headquartered designer and fabricator of gypsum wallboard and asphalt-shingle manufacturing equipment. The transaction (in which Gyptech management retains a minority stake) was announced as providing strategic support for global growth, scaling innovative technologies, and expanding aftermarket and energy‑reduction offerings; Wynnchurch Capital is the selling private equity sponsor. Moelis acted as Fortress's financial advisor and Evercore as placement agent on the financing.

Grain & Protein Technologies Acquires Munters FoodTech Equipment

Grain & Protein Technologies (GPT) has completed the acquisition of Munters FoodTech Equipment, the business that sells and services the Aerotech, Euroemme, and Reventa branded products. The deal brings approximately 400 Munters FoodTech Equipment employees into GPT and expands GPT's product portfolio and capabilities in climate control and air treatment for the protein and agribusiness segments.

Branford Castle Partners II, an affiliate of Branford Castle Partners, has made a strategic investment in Marine Floats, a Tacoma, Washington-based specialty marine contractor that designs, fabricates and installs marinas, floating docks and waterfront structures while providing environmental and permitting advisory services. Branford will partner with founder and President Logan Brown to support growth and expand the company’s offerings and reach across the Pacific Northwest; terms were not disclosed.

Branford Castle Partners Acquires Pulse Veterinary Technologies
