Platte River Equity Acquires Womack Machine Supply Company

Platte River Equity, a Denver-based private equity firm, has acquired Womack Machine Supply Company, a Farmers Branch, Texas-based value-added distributor of hydraulic, pneumatic and automation control components. Platte River said it will partner with Womack's management team to pursue organic growth and complementary acquisitions to expand the company's market position; Womack operates 13 facilities and was founded in 1953.

Platte River invested from its fourth fund to support GME's continued growth across telecommunications, wind, solar, industrial and construction end markets; BMO Capital Markets provided financing for the transaction.

Global Precision Products, LLC has acquired Will-Mor Manufacturing, LLC, a Seabrook, New Hampshire-based precision contract manufacturer of mission-critical aerospace and defense components. The deal, completed in November 2021, was completed in parallel with subordinated debt and equity provided by Aldine Capital Partners alongside Touchpoint Capital Partners and expands Global's capabilities in tight-tolerance machining and high-temp superalloy work.

Platte River invested out of Platte River Equity IV in partnership with Belt Power's existing management team; Shorehill will retain an ongoing equity stake. The deal aims to scale Belt Power's national footprint and expand its product and service offerings across industrial automation end markets.

Belt Power Acquires Mol Belting Systems

Platte River Equity portfolio company Belt Power, LLC has acquired substantially all of the U.S. assets of Mol Belting Systems, Inc., a family-owned fabricator and distributor of conveyor belts and power transmission products based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The acquisition expands Belt Power's product capabilities and geographic reach by adding Mol's technical fabrication expertise and broad product offering to Belt Power's national network of facilities.
