Clearlake Capital completed an all-cash acquisition of Endurance International Group and made a strategic investment in Web.com (with Siris remaining a significant equityholder), combining Endurance Web Presence and Web.com to form Newfold Digital. The combined business (Newfold Digital) will be a leading SMB-focused web presence platform serving roughly 6.7 million customers globally; financial terms for the Web.com investment were not disclosed and the Endurance transaction was valued at approximately $3.0 billion including debt.
