Blackhawk Network to Acquire Tango Card

Blackhawk Network (BHN) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire digital B2B gift card and rewards platform Tango Card to enhance BHN’s global rewards and incentives capabilities. The deal, which builds on BHN’s prior investment relationship with Tango and Tango’s 800% growth since FTV Capital’s 2018 investment, is subject to regulatory approvals related to money transmitter licenses and is expected to close later in the year.

Blackhawk Network Acquires National Gift Card (NGC) from Longshore Capital Partners

Blackhawk Network has completed the acquisition of National Gift Card (NGC), a Crystal Lake, Illinois-based provider of technology-enabled prepaid and gift card solutions. The seller was Longshore Capital Partners (in conjunction with LaSalle Capital); the deal expands Blackhawk's prepaid, fulfillment and program-management capabilities and integrates NGC's fulfillment operations and customer base into Blackhawk's global branded-payments platform.

Blackhawk Network Acquires CashStar for $175 Million

Blackhawk Network Inc. acquired CashStar Inc., a Portland-based provider of gift card commerce solutions, for approximately $175 million in cash. The deal strengthens Blackhawk's position in the first-party digital gift card market and is expected to be earnings neutral in fiscal 2017 and accretive in 2018 after synergies.

Fiserv Acquires CardFree

Prepaid Technologies Acquires dash Purchasing Card Portfolio from Karmic Labs
