BlackHawk Industrial Distribution Acquires Tools for Industry and Service for Industry

BlackHawk Industrial Distribution, a Tulsa-based industrial distributor, acquired Dayton, Ohio-based Tools for Industry, Inc. (TFI) and affiliate Service for Industry (SFI) in a deal that closed on November 9, 2021. The acquisition expands BlackHawk's presence in southwestern Ohio and adds specialty cutting-tool manufacturing and grinding capabilities; 13 TFI/SFI associates joined BlackHawk and TFI's former president Tim Ozvath will lead integration at the Dayton branch.
