Banyan Software Acquires RinkNet

Banyan Software, a permanent-capital acquirer of niche enterprise software businesses, has acquired RinkNet, the leading scouting and player-management software for hockey teams headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario. RinkNet—used by all 32 NHL teams and hundreds of amateur teams—will continue under founder Jim Price, who will remain with the business as Banyan invests to grow the platform for its customers.
