Zscaler announced the intent to acquire Cloudneeti, a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) startup, to extend Zscaler's Cloud Security Platform with public-cloud misconfiguration detection and automated remediation capabilities. The acquisition will broaden Zscaler's data protection coverage across SaaS, IaaS and PaaS environments; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close prior to Zscaler's fiscal third quarter.

Deloitte Acquires CloudQuest to Strengthen Cloud Security Capabilities

Deloitte acquired substantially all assets of CloudQuest, Inc., a Cupertino-based cloud security posture management (CSPM) provider, to expand its cloud-native cybersecurity offerings. The deal adds CloudQuest's CSPM and cloud-native security capabilities to Deloitte's Cyber Cloud portfolio to improve cloud security orchestration, automation and response.

Aqua Security Acquires Argon to Extend Software Supply Chain Security

Aqua Security has acquired Argon, a Tel Aviv–based pioneer in software supply chain security, adding Argon’s agentless CI/CD protection and code-tampering detection to Aqua’s Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). The deal expands Aqua’s “shift-left” capabilities to protect the full software development lifecycle from code through build to runtime, reinforcing its CNAPP leadership.

Aqua Security Acquires tfsec

Aqua Security has acquired tfsec, an open-source Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security scanner, and will integrate tfsec into its Aqua Trivy tool to add IaC scanning capabilities. Tfsec's co-founders will join Aqua as cloud engineers, and the project will remain available as a standalone open-source offering while being incorporated into Aqua's security platform.

The deal integrates SPLX's technology for discovery, risk assessment and remediation into Zscaler's cloud security platform to help enterprises secure models, agent workflows, and RAG pipelines from development through deployment.

Snyk Acquires Fugue
