Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital announced the merger of its portfolio companies Wiseway Supply (Florence, KY) and Park Supply (Huntsville, AL) to form a combined super-regional distributor of plumbing, electrical and lighting products. The consolidation creates a larger multi-location platform under CEO Mark Christie to capture distribution synergies, expand geographic reach, and support continued organic and acquisition growth.

Wynnchurch Capital Acquires Northern Wholesale Supply

Wynnchurch Capital has acquired Northern Wholesale Supply (NWS), a Hugo, Minnesota–based distributor of RV and marine parts and accessories founded in 1984 that sells over 30,000 SKUs and markets proprietary products such as the Extreme Max line. Wynnchurch said it will partner with NWS management to grow the business as a platform investment from its Fund V.

NW Synergy Acquires Southeastern Paper Group

NW Synergy (NWS), the holding company led by FEMSA and comprised of North American, WAXIE and SWPlus, has acquired Southeastern Paper Group (SEPG). The acquisition adds SEPG's seven warehouse facilities and nearly 500 employees, expanding NWS's geographic reach into the southeastern United States and strengthening its janitorial, foodservice disposables and industrial packaging distribution capabilities.

VP Supply Corp Acquires Exterior Wholesale Supply, LLC

VP Supply Corp, a Rochester, New York-based plumbing and building products distributor, has acquired Exterior Wholesale Supply, LLC (EWS), a Smyrna, Tennessee-based value-add distributor of building products and installation services. Madison Street Capital served as exclusive advisor to EWS; financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands VP Supply's geographic footprint and service capabilities into the Middle Tennessee market.

Facility Solutions Group Acquires West-Lite Supply

Watsco Acquires Gateway Supply Company

Watsco, Inc. completed the acquisition of Gateway Supply Company, a Columbia, South Carolina-based distributor of plumbing and HVAC products with approximately $180 million in annual sales and 16 locations across South Carolina and North Carolina. The transaction expands Watsco's footprint in core Sunbelt markets and brings Gateway into Watsco's technology and scale while Gateway's leadership (the Williams family) will continue to run the business.
