Gurobi Optimization Acquires October Sky in Japan

Gurobi Optimization, a Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) portfolio company, has acquired October Sky, a Japan-based provider of mathematical optimization services and the sole distributor of the Gurobi Optimizer in Japan. The add-on acquisition (terms undisclosed) will deepen Gurobi's local presence and expand consulting, training and services capabilities across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
