ASM International Acquires LPE S.p.A.

ASM International has completed the acquisition of Italian epitaxy equipment manufacturer LPE S.p.A., making LPE a fully owned subsidiary and product unit within ASM's Global Products organization. The transaction expands ASM's capabilities into the high-growth silicon carbide (SiC) epitaxy equipment market to support power electronics and electric vehicle end markets.
